Departing comments:

Cathy’s husband Joe was more nervous than the winners as he commented, “I’ve been all around the world but who’s going to take care of her?"

We assured him that The Point has ‘em covered… officials with Capital C Concerts will pick up Cathy and Madison from the airport. Members of New Plymouth’s tourism office will pick them up from the hotel and an afternoon helicopter ride, then back for tea! All along the way, they will be well taken care of, we assured him…

Cathy…what are you most excited about? Well, the actual concert itself, of course! And what do you want New Zealand to know about Arkansas when you leave? “Our diversity – we have everything here and we hope to dispel any myths that we’re running around here barefooted!”
