Autism Speaks Holiday Gift Card Drive
Autism Speaks and the Arkansas National Autism Association are pleased to announce the Arkansas Holiday Gift Card Drive. Please join us in making this holiday season a very special memory for those families in need. This campaign is open to any family in the state of Arkansas who has an individual with autism living with them.
How You Can Donate to Help a Family:
§ Donate cash
§ Donate a gift card from these national chain stores: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target.
§ Donate a gas card from national companies: Exxon-Mobil, Shell, Sunoco, Citgo, BP
§ Donate a gift card from a grocery chain: Kroger
§ For all gift cards, please include a gift card receipt and your contact information so that we can send you a donation letter for you to use for your taxes. Please mail gift cards to the address listed below by December 14, 2009.
How You Can Apply for a Free Gift Card:
§ Holiday giving will be based on family need and size. The Holiday Gift Card program is open to Arkansans who have a family member affected by autism living with them.
§ Letter of Request must be postmarked no later than December 11, 2009
§ Please include in your Letter of Request:
ü Your name
ü Mailing address
ü Email address
ü Day-time telephone number
ü Number of individuals living in your home on the autism spectrum disorder
ü Explanation describing why your family needs assistance
