Greek Food Festival

Chow down on baklava, gyros, sourota and other Mediterranean favorites as you scope out the performances, children’s activities, church tours and Old World Market at the annual International Greek Food Festival. The festival is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday at Annunc iation Greek Orthodox Church, 1100 Napa Valley Drive . Dino Dash 

Dinosaurs and humans are invited to tie on their running shoes for the Museum of Discovery ’s annual Dino Dash Saturday in the River Market District. The 5K walk/run for ages 5 and older begins at 8 a.m., followed by the 1K Family Fun Run for all ages at 9 a.m. Registration before Saturday is $25, $30 at the race. Comedy Throwdown

ImprovLittleRock will improvise its way through two shows Saturday at the Public Theatre, 616 Center St., Little Rock : For “The Comedy Throwdown” at 7 p.m., two teams battle it out in shortform games, scenes and songs; Jason Pederson of KATV, Channel 7, is the guest judge. Aladdin 

The dancers with Arkansas Festival Ballet bring a touch of Middle Eastern storytelling to Little Rock with their production of Aladdin, 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, 2 p.m. Saturday-Sunday at the Arkansas Arts Center Children’s Theatre, East Ninth and Commerce streets. Antique Alley Arkansas Antique Show 

Those bitten by the antique bug can indulge at the Antique Alley Arkansas Antique Show. The Conway Expo Center , 2505 E. Oak St., Conway , plays host to this sale of collectible toys, furniture, jewelry, glass and war memorabilia, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Farmers Market 

The Little Rock Farmers Market has reopened for the growing season with tables full of crafts and fresh produce, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the River Market. Extreme Deep: Mission to the Abyss 

Have adventures on the dark ocean floor at the Museum of Discovery ’s newest exhibit, “Extreme Deep: Mission to the Abyss.” The interactive exhibit, which includes the chance to move a remotely operated vehicle over a model of Titanic’s deck, opens Saturday and continues through July 29 in Little Rock . Also this weekend, the museum hosts its Nano Days hands-on exploration of nano technology, today-Saturday. Admission is $10, $8 for ages 1-12 and 60 and older.
